Donor Responsibility, Privacy and Confidentiality Policy

donors that funds given to Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries will be used only for the purposes for which they were given and to assure that donors that their privacy rights and confidential information are protected.

In keeping with those goals, it is the policy and practice of Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries to assure that:

ü      Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries never sells, rents or exchanges its donor list with other organizations.

ü      We conduct online transactions through a system that employs high-level, security technology, to protect the donor's personal information; for both internal and external authorized use.

ü      We remove from our mailing and contact lists the names of anyone who request it.  If donors or others wish to be removed, they notify DRMM by calling 313-993-4700 or by electronic mail at www.drmm.org.

ü      We protect the interests and privacy of individuals interacting with our website.

ü      We only collect name, address, and gift information on donors. 

ü      The information we collect is used only to communicate with our donors or potential donors and to evaluate our giving information programs.  Only Donor Processing employees have direct access to this information.
