On Thursday, June 29, 2006, The Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries held a graduation ceremony for clients who have been through our programs since January.  Over 90% of our graduates are Detroiters.

These clients have been through treatment and job training, and are ready to participate in the community, drug and alcohol free for over 90 days, bringing with them their new skills.

Representatives of the Governor and the Mayor were there, as well as Robert Ficano, Wayne County Executive, Dr. Trent of the Detroit Bureau of Health, DRMM Board Member Rick Cadez, Judge Lloyd of the 36th District Court and others.  Mitch Albom wrote about the graduation in the July 2nd Sunday Free Press.

It was a joyous celebration of the goodness of the Lord for all who attended.
