Youth Services

• Children and Youth Services: Children and Youth Service programs are designed to serve children who live near our facilities or in our residential programs with their mothers.  Children and Youth Services include Prevention Services and Summer Camping.  Recreation services for children and youth are also available through Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries’ community services.

• Summer Camping: For each of ten weeks during the summer, up to 138 children and youth participate in an exciting five full days of camping. Children ages 7 to16 participate. Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries Wildwood Ranch’s summer camping program is designed to offer spiritual lessons and exciting activities, including horseback riding, archery, nature studies and crafts, in an area where they will be surrounded by a spectacular display of natural beauty. 

• Highland Park Recreation Services.  This program provides youth of Highland Park and the City of Detroit with Substance Abuse Prevention services on Saturdays, after-school sports and recreations programs, and programs for parents.
